The Combined Defence Services Examination or CDS is governed twice in a year by the Union Public Service Commission. It is conduct for fulfillment the recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

Eligibility

Education Eligibility
For applying Indian Military Academy or Officers' Training Academy a Degree is requires from a recognized university or equivalent

For applying Naval Academy a Bachelor of Engineering Degree is required

For applying in Air Force Academy a Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology is required.

Age limit

The candidate who wants to apply for Indian Military Academy must be in between19-24 years. The candidate who wants to apply for Air Force Academy must be in between 19-23 years The candidate who wants to apply for Naval Academy must be in between19-23 years The candidate who wants to apply for Officers’ Training Academy must be in between 19-25 years
