Re: Eligibility for MBA for a B.Tech student

MBA is also called Master of Business Administration is a master’s degree in the field of management.

The main courses in an MBA curriculum cover various regions of business such as finance, marketing, HR and operations in a manner most appropriate to management analysis and tactic. Most programs also include elective courses.

Many B-schools offer programs consist of Full time, part time, executive and distance learning students.

MBA has many specializations to choose in the curriculum.
As you have asked about the eligibility for MBA, it should have
The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 50 percentage marks or equivalent CGPA [in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) category, this is relaxed to 45%] from a recognized university.

Aspirants appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree/equivalent requirement examination and those who have completed degree requirement and are expecting results can also apply.


Admission Procedure:

Firstly Candidate should fight a national level MBA entrance exam like
CAT
MAT
CMAT
GMAT
ATMA

According to the performance in various exams, candidates are short listed and called for GD/ PI round where they are selected for the admission course.
Every institute has its own procedure and norms for selecting a candidate.
It views the full academic profile along with performance in the entrance test
