Eligibility for Scientist/Engineer Post
What is the minimum eligibility required for Scientist/Engineer Post in Babha Atomic Research Centre (BARC)??? Babha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) often conducts recruitment for eligible candidates to Scientist or Engineer position. Disciplines for Scientist/ Engineer Recruitment in BARC Bio Science Geology Geophysics Physics Radiological safety engineering Chemistry Engineering Eligibility Requirements for Scientist/ Engineer Positions in BARC For Bio Science discipline – -Must have completed B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc qualification with a minimum of 60% marks. -Apart from this, M.Sc post graduates in any of the following streams can also apply– Zoology Plant Science Genetics Food Technology Entomology Botany Plant Pathology Plant Breeding Molecular Biology Biotechnology Biosciences Biochemistry Animal Science Agriculture Microbiology Life Sciences M.Sc applicants must have studied subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Agriculture at graduate level. For Chemistry discipline – -Must hold post graduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks is essential to apply for this discipline. -M.Sc graduates need to opt Physics as an optional subject at B.Sc level as well. For Engineering discipline – Must have completed either B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (engineering) in any of the below mentioned streams – Metallurgical engineering Electronics & Communication engineering Electronics engineering Computer engineering Civil engineering Chemical engineering Electrical engineering Mechanical engineering Instrumentation engineering Electronics and Controls engineering For Geology discipline – Must have completed M.Sc degree in Geology or Applied Geology with minimum of 60% marks by opting mathematics as a subject at B.Sc level For Geophysics discipline – -Must possess M.Sc degree in either of the streams like Geo physics or Applied Geophysics -Must have obtained at least 60% marks in both B.Sc and M.Sc level to apply for the same. For Physics discipline – -Graduate degree in engineering physics is the necessary qualification required to apply. -M.Sc graduates in streams like Electronics, Physics and Applied Physics also eligible to apply. -It is compulsory to attain a minimum of 60% marks at both graduate and post graduate level. For Radiological safety engineering – -Must have completed M.Sc qualification in subject streams like Physics and Chemistry with minimum of 60% marks. -Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc holders are considered for this discipline provided they study mathematics as a subject either at B.Sc or M.Sc level. Main Eligibility: -For all the disciplines, candidates will also be considered on the basis of GATE score. -Therefore, it is compulsory for candidates to obtain a valid GATE score in the specific engineering or qualifying degree discipline Last edited by Neelurk; April 25th, 2020 at 04:37 PM. |
