According to me there is no such fixed eligibility criteria as such where in if you have a gap year you are not eligible.

The candidates without any year gap are preferred by the Infosys.

Here I am providing you the basic eligibility criteria for the Infosys. This is as follows:

Eligibility criteria

Percentage:

Consistent 60% aggregate from 10th onwards is a must

Backlog:

No live backlogs are allowed.

Break in Studies:

Maximum up to 2 years gap is permissible

You must fulfill these criteria also

You should have good knowledge on computer
Ability to work in a team
Must be available to work anywhere in India
Must be able work in flexible shifts
You must have good conception and knowledge in programming languages like C,C++, JAVA, .NET
If possible do a per time course in these and get a certificate on these course to boost up your career prospects
You need to have very good communication skill
Proficiency in English

The recruitment test has 3 phases:
Written test
Group discussion round
Personal interview
