Re: Engineering Common Entrance Test For Diploma Holders In Karnataka

Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test CET exam is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority KEA for admissions into 2nd year in Engineering.

Karnataka Diploma CET Eligibility

Diploma or equivalent with minimum of 45% marks in total in the final year.

For Evening Engineering College must also have diploma or equivalent, with 45% of minimum marks and a minimum of two years of work experience as well in a Company or registered firm or industry.

For B. Arch Course -
Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate and a NATA score of 40% marks.

Age Limit -


Applicants need to be above 18 years of age and under 22 years of age

Registration Fees

Candidates has to pay a registration fee of 650/- if they are of general, OBC categories and in the case of SC/ST categories need to pay an amount of 500/-.

Exam pattern-

All the questions will be of Multiple Choice types and in total 180 questions will be there.

Applied Mathematics 40
Applied Science 40
Engineering Paper 100

The engineering Paper will include disciples like Aeronautical engineering, Biotechnology, Civil engineering, Ceramics, Computer Science, Chemical, Electronics & Communication, Environmental, Electrical & Electronics, Mining, Mechanical and Textile.
