Re: Equilibrium IIT JEE

Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2016 has been conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB).

Equilibrium is an experimental fact that most of the process including chemical reactions, when carried out in a closed vessel, do not go to completion.

Equilibrium can be defined as a state at which both the opposite processes take place with equal rate.

Equilibrium represents the state of a process in which the properties like temperature, pressure, and concentration etc of the system do not show any change with passage of time.

Following topics comes under Equilibrium:

Law of Mass Action and Equilibrium Constant

Le Chatelier Principle

Degree of Dissociation

Acids and Bases

Acid-Base Neutralization

Ionic Product of Water

Solubility Product

Salt Hydrolysis

Buffer Solutions
