The details of the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination is given below :

AIIMS New Delhi will conduct AIIMS MBBS 2016 entrance exam in online mode for admission to 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutions.

Eligibility Criteria :

Nationality:
Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible

Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination

Age: Candidates must complete 17 years

Education Qualification: Applicants have passed the 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an same examination from a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State


Examination pattern :

Single paper of 3 hours & 30 minutes durations.
There will be 200 multiple choice questions.
Each of the four sections namely physics, chemistry, biology will have 60 questions and 20 question from General Knowledge section.

Marking scheme –
1 Mark for correct answer and negative marking of -1/3 (one third) mark for incorrect answers
