About the Phd Program : FAU's Ph.D. program in the College of Business places major emphasis on independent inquiry, on the development of competence in research methodology, on the communication of research findings, and development of teaching skills. Entrants into the program can expect to join a stimulating research environment where interactions with faculty members and fellow students play a vital role in creating research.

Admission Requirement

, the minimum acceptable grade point average is 3.0 in the undergraduate program and 3.5 in the masters program.

Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examinations General Test (GRE) are accepted; although, the GMAT is preferred. Normally, the minimum score is 600 on the GMAT (or a comparable score on the GRE). Individual section scores may be evaluated separately.
