ICET currently offers technician training programs in cooperation with the Michigan Department of Transportation for the following certification programs:

Certified Aggregate Technician Level One
Certified Aggregate Technician Level Two
Certified Hot Mix Asphalt Lab Technician Level One
Certified Density Control Technician
Certified Hot Mix Asphalt Paving Operations Technician The HMA Paving Operations Classes are full and closed for 2016. Registration for 2017 Classes opens in September 2016.
Certified Hot Mix Asphalt QC/QA Technician
Underground Pipe Installation and Inspection
HMA Sampling for Local Agency Projects

Registration and Fees-

The registration fee for the course and the examination includes all instruction, course materials, handouts, examination fee, certificate, and identification card.

Course fees funded by MDOT must have written approval from MDOT via email to: icet@ferris.edu at least one week before the class begins

Class substitutions of individuals will be permitted up to one week before the scheduled course/examination for a fee of $45.00

Transferring from one course date to another date will be permitted up to one week before the scheduled course/examination for a fee of $45.00

Reprint fees for certificate or wallet cards are $45.00 each
