As an air force officer you start earning a monthly stipend of Rs-21000/- during your last one year of your training period at any of the Air force training Institutions.

1. Pay in pay band 15,600 per month.(the officer will be placed in PB3-15600-39000).

2.Grade Pay-5400 Pm

3.Military Service Pay-6000 Pm

4.Defence Allowance@72%-19440 Pm

5.Kit Maintenance Allowance-500 Pm

6.Transport Allowances-3200+Da

Additional Allowances

1.flying allowance-11250 pm

Technical allowance-2500 pm

Total-flying branch-63694 pm

Here I’m telling you way to join the IAF

After passing 12th you are eligible to join Indian Air Force.

You have to appear in NDA Exam to join Indian Air Force.
NDA:- National Defence Academy

This exam is organized by UPSC twice in a year as NDAI & II.
UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission

Eligibility criteria
You should be 12th passed from recognized school/board.

You must passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Maths.

Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

You must have an Indian citizenship.

Only Unmarried male candidate can join Air Force through NDA.

Date of Notification:- 1st week of May 2016

Last date to apply:- 1st week of June 2016

Date of Examination:- 2nd week of August 2016
