The Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is conducted by AICTE for admissions to PGDM and MBA programmes across its participating institutes.

The application process for the academic session 2017-19 will start from the month of November 2016, and the test will be conducted in January.

CMAT 2017 Application Form

The application process is completely online.
One has to fill the online application form mentioning the personal, academic and contact details.
One also need to upload 2 scanned photographs and the signature during the process.
The application fee can be paid via 3 modes- Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card and Bank Challan.


CMAT 2017 Exam Pattern

CMAT 2017 is a computer based objective type multiple choice test of 3 hours.
There will be 4 sections, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, each consisting of 25 questions.
The total number of questions to be answered is 100 and the total marks of the test are 400.
There is a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.


CMAT 2017 Selection Procedure
The selection process of CMAT consist three steps.
One will be shortlisted on the basis of the cutoff, scores or ranks and will be called for the below-given rounds,
• Written Ability Test (WAT)
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)
