Ok, here I am telling you the format of question paper of Common Admission Test CAT exam. CAT exam paper format Section Name No. of Questions Total Time Quantitative Aptitude (QA) 34 60 minutes Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC) 34 60 minutes Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) 32 60 minutes Total 100 Questions 180 minutes All the questions are objective type. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The total no. of questions are 100. Syllabus- Verbal & Reading Comprehension This section will comprise of questions that will be based on Reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, verbal reasoning, antonyms and synonyms, syllogisms, analogies, sentence correction, idioms, etc. Types of Questions • Vocabulary Based (Synonyms Antonyms) • Sentence Correction • Fill in the blanks • English Usage or Grammar • Cloze Passage • Jumbled Paragraph • Meaning-Usage Match • Analogies or Reverse Analogies • Summary Questions • Verbal Reasoning – • Facts / Inferences / Judgements • Reading Comprehension # Quantitative Aptitude Quantitative section plays a major role in the test and usually have questions with a little higher difficulty level.
