Future of SBI PO
I am preparing for the SBI PO exam and looking for the SBI PO sample questions papers to prepare for the SBI PO exam. Will you tell me from where I can get sample exam papers and also tell me in detail about the future scope after giving the SBI PO exam?

The job profile of a PO is highly multipurpose and may demand the officer to engage in clerical work according to the needs. Eventually, when one will have to take up a managerial profile, one cant expect to pull it off properly unless one has a clear understanding of how things are done at the base level. SBI PO Job Profile SBI PO is subject to a probation period of 2 years which is like a training phase where one get to learn about various aspects of banking procedures - Retail (Personal) Banking, Advances, Rural Banking (Agriculture training), etc. Some tasks include - Gaining practical knowledge of various banking aspects, Customer Services (which may range from passbook printing to account opening and much more), supervision of clerical work, Loan Processing, etc. One is sent directly to the allotted branch, a day after reporting in the regional office of the allotted circle. The training is basically on-site i.e. one gets to learn the banking procedures while working in the branch itself. After the probation period, one needs to undergo a screening procedure, qualifying which one will be confirmed as Officer Middle Management Grade Scale-II. Promotions in SBI follow the under mentioned Path Probationary Officer: At first one who got selected in SBI PO exam are posted as Probationary Officer that are also known as Assistant Manager or JMGS I. This is the first lever of future as PO. Deputy Manager: After the Probationary Officer, one goes promoted as Deputy Manager that is also called MMGS II. Manager: Also known as MMGS III. It is the next promoting stage for Probationary Officers in SBI bank. Chief Manager: This is the next promoting level. Chief Manager is known as SMGS IV. Assistant General Manager: Assistant General Manager is the reputed post that can be achieved after Chief Manager. This is also known as SMGS V. Deputy General Manager: TEGS VI is also known as Deputy General Manager. It is the second biggest and reputed post for Probationary Officers that may get it after being promoted. General Manager: TEGS VII is the most popular post for a Probationary Officer that can be achieved after 23 years of posting. A General Manager can be posted in out of India head quarter of SBI bank. |
