A consortium of GAIL and Jubilant Oil and Gas Pvt. Ltd. (JOGPL) is investigating oil and gas in square AA-ONN-2002/1 (Tripura Onland) which was honored amid NELP-IV offering round. GAIL's Participating Interest (PI) is 80% and PI of Operator JOGPL is 20%. In this piece, two gas revelations to be specific Kathalchari and North Atharamura have been made.

After evaluation Field Development Plan (FDP) of Kathalchari has been submitted to Government for endorsement. North Atharamura gas revelation is as of now in examination stage. Evaluation and Development wells are wanted to be bored throughout the following 2 – 3 years other than establishment of gas handling offices. For these two noteworthy exercises (examination and advancement), Operator JOGPL will welcome Request for Quotation (RFQ) from August 2015 onwards.
