The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam is jointly monitored and administered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

This year, 2017, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam was organised by IITR (Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee).

The result of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 will be declared on March 27, 2017 at 05:00 pm. The GATE result 2017 will be announced for only those candidates, who will score equal to or more than the specified qualifying marks as per their category.

Each subject of GATE 2017 will have different qualifying marks. One can check the GATE 2017 result in online mode only. The score will be valid for three years.

The procedure to check GATE 2017 result is given below:
• Visit the official website of GATE.
• Click on ‘GATE Result’ tab.
• Enter correct Registration Number, Roll Number and Date of Birth in the fields provided.
• After verification, click on ‘Submit’ button.
