Savitribai Phule Pune University formerly the University of Pune, is a university in Pune in western India, founded in 1948. Spread over a 411 acres campus, the university is home to 46 academic departments.



About the M.tech Course
M. Tech. (Energy) course which includes theory, practical, industrial training (2 ½ months) and project ( 06 months).

Eligibility : M.Sc./B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent ( in any subject).

Seats : 20 + 2 (sponsored candidates). Admission
(1) Reserved 50% through GATE score; (2) 50% through Entrance Test.

Reservation Criteria: as per Government of Maharashtra rules 50% seats are reserved for
SC,ST,DTNT, OBC & 3 % seats are reserved for physically handicapped
students.

Quota : for other university students 30 %

Admission Criterion: 50 % weightage for entrance and 50 % for Interviews. Students with valid GATE score will appear directly for interview

GATE Score : the GATE Score may Vary for year to for Admission into the M.tech Course
