For how many years the GATE score card is valid?

GATE score will be valid for 2 years from announcement of GATE results.

GATE is the entrance exam for Post Graduation courses in engineering and architecture.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and taken jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology that are listed below :

Total no.of attempts:
Aspirants belonging to general category can appear for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test) twice.
OBCs can attempt four times.
SC/ST can appear GATE any number of times.
