Eligibility
Candidates need to have completed their Masters in the relevant subject which they want to hold the Ph.D.

Candidates should have minimum 50% aggregate marks in their Masters degree to fulfill their candidacy for the GPTR.

The candidates of the reserved category will be given the relaxation of 5% marks and need to have 45% aggregate marks in Masters.

Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks gained by them in the entrance examination which will be conducted by the university at different centres.

The qualifying marks will be decided by the university in the entrance examination.

The admission of the candidates will also depend on the availability of the number of seats in the University for the Ph.D. programme.
