Hello sir I want to do MBBS from Goa. I want to get admission through GCET entrance exam for MBBS. Can any one here provide me detail of GCET MBBS?

The GCET is a Goa Common Entrance Test. This test is a state level entrance examination organized by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa. This exam is provides admission in first year of various courses in the field of Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine, etc. The GCET application form for the year 2016 was provided form the 19th of march, 2016. The application forms are available at various designated centres in Goa. Total seats: MBBS: 5½ duration; 150 seats Age: Candidates to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Homoeopathy, Ayurveda, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing must have competed the age of 17 years Important dates: Start of receiving forms for GCET 28 Mar 2016 Last date for receiving applications and issue of admit cards 02 Apr 2016 Last date for receiving applications and issue of admit card (with additional late fees of Rs. 1000/-) 29 Apr 2016 Date of GCET 10 May & 11 May 2016 Date of result of GCET 16 May 2016 Exam Pattern: GCET Exam Subject Date of Exam Time of Exam Physics May 10, 2016 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Chemistry May 10, 2016 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM Mathematics May 11, 2016 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Biology May 11, 2016 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM The test shall be divided into four papers. Each paper will have questions pertaining to that subject only. There will be four papers – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology. Each paper will be of two (2) hours duration. Each paper will have seventy five (75) questions. The marks to be awarded for answering correctly is one mark (1). If the candidate marks incorrect answer, no mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking in the GCET exam |
