Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test conducted by Graduate Management admission council. GMAT Eligibility Criteria Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized board or university Candidate must be proficient in English Language. The candidate must be minimum 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit to take the GMAT exam. GMAT Exam Pattern The details regarding GMAT exam pattern have been mentioned below: The GMAT exam is a computer adaptive test, for the time duration of 3.5 hours, If the candidate will answer the first question correctly, than the difficulty level of the 2nd question will increase and if the first question answered by the candidate is incorrect than the 2nd question will be of less difficulty. The GMAT questions will be asked from the following sections] Analytical writing Assessment- 1 question-30 min Integrated Reasoning-12 question – 30 min Quantitative-37 question-75 min Verbal Aptitude- 41 question- 75 min The question paper will be divided into four sections and the total time allowed to write the exam is 3.5 hours. GMAT Syllabus The GMAT syllabus is divided into following section: Integrated Reasoning Section In this section reasoning abilities of candidates is measured by providing various information like graphic, numeric and verbal. This section includes: Multi-Source Reasoning Table Analysis Graphics Interpretation Two-Part Analysis Quantitative Section Problem Solving Data Sufficiency Verbal Section Reading comprehension Critical reasoning Sentence correction |
