West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) conducted the JEXPO entrance test

This exam is conducted for the students who want to take admission in Polytechnic for various colleges of West Bengal.

Total No of Seats in Polytechnic : 10,000+ (aprox.)

30% of the seats will be reserved for the district candidate out of which 50% will be reserved for female candidates.

5% seats will be filled through Fee Waver Scheme as per AICTE norms.

4% of the total seats will be reserved for Land looser category candidates

Diploma in Engineering.( Polytechnics )- 3 yrs Diploma Courses in various
Engineering / Technological fields.-
(i) 60 % seats are filled through JEXPO conducted by the WBSCTE
(ii).30% seats are filled on the basis of marks obtained in MP exam.
(iii) 10% seats are filled from HS (Vocational) stream
