Guru Nanak Dev University conducts GNDU CET in order to admit candidates of Punjab who want to study law , into under-graduate and post-graduate courses.

It is a state -level entrance test for candidates to seek admission into colleges under the Punjab University , Guru Nanak Dev University and Punjabi university.

Courses offered:
Five Year BA.LLB program
Five year BA.LLB (Hons) program
Three years LLB Law program
LLB
LLM

Eligibility :

Five year BA.LLB (Hons) program
Students must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in total and 45% marks in case of SC/ST Students

Students should be less than 20 years of age (22 years for SC/ST Students) as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Five Year BA.LLB program
Students should have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in total.

Exemption of 5% is there for SC/ST Students.

Students should have age less than 20 years (22 years for SC/ST Students) as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Three years LLB Law program
Students should possess an undergraduate degree of Punjab University , Guru Nanak Dev University & Punjabi University with 45% aggregate marks.

Relaxation of 5% is there for SC/ST Students.

In addition, Students should be less than of 30 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Paper pattern:
LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam test paper consists of 300 objective questions with multiple options.

The test paper is divided into four parts.
Part I – constitutes 50 questions from Mental Ability.

Part II- constitutes 100 questions from General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Part III- constitutes 100 questions from Aptitude for Law.

Part IV- constitutes 50 questions from General English.

Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks to the applicant .

Duration of CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam is three hours.

Exams have no particular set of syllabus.
Questions asked for Five year BA.LLB (Hons) program and Five Year BA.LLB program are of 10+2 level.

Questions asked for Three years LLB Law program are of graduation level
