The cost of hair transplantation is dependent on the area being transplanted.

The minimum cost is $4000 up to 667 grafts:

1. Transplantation to scalp from the posterior scalp:
668-1000 grafts: $6 per graft placed
1001-2000 grafts: $5.50 per graft places
20001+ grafts: $5.00 per graft placed

2. Transplantation to beard:
$4000 up to 400 grafts, and any further grafts are $10 per graft

3. Transplantation to eyebrows:
$4000 up to 400 grafts, and any further grafts are $10 per graft

4. Transplantation to eyelids:

5. Transplantation from body to scalp:
$8 per graft placed

How much hair grafts do you need on the scalp?

1. On areas without any hair, one will need 350 hair grafts per square inch.
Therefore, measure the bald area in square inches and multiply by 350, and that gives the number of grafts one need.

2. If one already have some hair, and are only thickening the area, one will need between 250-300 hair grafts per square inch.
