The JD/MBA offered by Harvard Law School (HLS) and Harvard Business School (HBS) is one of the oldest MBA joint degree program at Harvard. Prearranged to be completed in four years, the joint degree program integrates two complementary disciplines that prepare graduates for professional roles requiring leadership, legal expertise, and a general management perspective in private enterprise, government, and the nonprofits sector. The JD/MBA is a four-year program that provides the core curriculum of the HBS MBA and HLS JD with a wide range of elective options at both schools. Admissions Prospective students concerned in the JD/MBA joint degree program apply to HLS and HBS separately and must be admitted independently by each school. HBS aspirants interested in the joint degree program can apply in any of the three rounds of admission. All HLS aspirants interested in the joint degree program must apply by February 1. The final module introduces a model for strategic career management.
