Hello sir, is there any one can provide me detail about the ICC unit of HCL? I want to know about the HCL unit Indian Copper Complex?

The Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is a public sector enterprise of the Government of India was incorporated on 9th November 1967.

The Indian Copper Corporation Ltd was established by a British company in 1930 at Ghatsila consisting of a cluster of underground copper mines, concentrator plants and smelter.

The Govt. of India nationalized the company under provisions of the Indian Copper Corporation and merged the same with HCL on 25.09.72.

Indian Copper Complex (ICC)

Located in the state of Jharkhand

Capacity 16,500 tpa copper cathode
By products Sulfuric acid, gold, silver, palladium, selenium, tellurium, nickel sulphate
Mines - Surda
Reserve
Surda 19.30 million tonnes @1.17% cu

Existing Infrastructure:

Established in 1930
Operating Mine: Surda~26 MT @ 1.20% Cu
Process plants to produce 19,000 TPA of refined copper

Additional mining reserves:

Rakha mine 47.19 million tonnes @ 0.97% copper
Kendadih Mine 12.85 million tonnes @1.73% copper
Chapri Block 63.50 million tonnes @1.14% Cu

Khetri Copper Complex (KCC)
Indian Copper Complex (ICC)
Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP)
Taloja Copper Project (TCP)
