ITM University is a multidisciplinary university based in Gwalior, India with subjects spanning the sciences, engineering, management, fine arts, social sciences, arts, and nursing.

The University was established in 1997 by the Act of State Legislature Madhya Pradesh and is notified in the Official Gazette (extraordinary) of the State Government.

ITM University Gwalior is fully Government Recognised and Approved University. ITM University Gwalior is a state university under 2(f) of UGC Act.

ITM University Gwalior has been notified in the Gazette (Extra-ordinary) of the state Govt. On 04th May, 2011 and scheduled in the Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam, 2007 (No. 17 of 2007).

ITM University Gwalior awarded “The Best Globally Recognized Private University of The Year” by Chief Guest Shri Rajeev Mishra, Founder of Electronic Media Rating Council of India in Asia Education Leadership Awards 2017 on 25th February, 2017 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, New Delhi.

ITM University Gwalior awarded “Best University for Advanced Learning” in the presence of Honourable Shri Prakash Javadekar Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Government of India in India Excellence Award 2017 on 9th February, 2017 at New Delhi.
