Re: How to become a Chartered Accountant?
Candidates have to register with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in order to become a Chartered Accountant. CA course is of two years, which is s divided in to three sections. This includes:- Competency Professional Test (CPT) Professional Competency Examination (PCE) Final examination Eligibility: The applicant should have completed 12th with good academic record from any recognized board of India. The CA entrance examination covers following topics: Fundamentals of Accounting Mercantile Law General Economics Quantitative Attitudes Here I am telling you some steps to become Chartered Accountant: In the order to become a CA, First of all you need to register for the CPT examination, which is held twice in a year - in June, and in December, after qualifying the CPT examination apply for the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) course. It has two groups Group I consists of 4 papers and Group II consists of 3 papers. After completing the IPCC course you need to do Registration for Articleship. You can register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years Practicing Chartered Accountant. At last you need to appear in the CA Final Course examination and then Enroll as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant".
