In its recruitment notification, ONGC is not elaborated much on what would be the pattern of the ONGC GT Exam other than just specifying that:

The exam paper would be of Objective type (i.e. Multiple Choice Questions).

Specialization subject test section – specific to your subject
Aptitude test section– common to all, containing question from following areas:
