Firstly make study plan.

Divide the course material into smaller segments before allotting them to final study sessions

The course should be segregated according to the level of difficulty. You can complete the simpler ones sooner and allot more time for the difficult subjects.

Take small breaks while studying.

Concentration is a must while preparing for the entrance exam.

Go for English and Reasoning section first in the exam. Then General Awareness, and lastly Quant. Quant= Mathematics/Geometry/etc.

Enjoy your preparation and exam, instead of pressurizing yourself.

It is extremely important that you leave a question if you are NOT able to crack the question in 1 minute.

IGNOU OPENMAT Entrance Exam pattern

A total of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs)

There shall be no negative marking.

For each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 1 mark.

Only 3 hours will be given to all the candidates for attempting the test.

The number of questions in each section is as follow –

General awareness: 30 questions

English language: 50 questions

Quantitative aptitude: 50 questions

Reasoning ability: 70 questions
