MMS is the flagship course of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), conducted as a university department of University of Mumbai.

Masters in Management Studies (MMS) Programme

It is a two year full time post graduate degree course in management.

The institute offers various specializations like Finance, Marketing, Personnel, Operations and Systems in the second year of the course.

Eligibility for MMS

Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

The candidate is required to have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent till the latest examination.

Admission Procedure-

JBIMS shortlists candidates based on their profile and CAT / MH-CET scores (GMAT for international candidates).

Short listed candidates are called for the second round, the in-person assessment (IPA).

This round consists of group activity, personal interview and a written ability test.

For international candidates, interviews are conducted over Skype.

Schedule (tentative)-

The course is conducted on a semester basis with 4 semesters spread over 2 academic years.

The duration of each semester is around 15 working weeks.

First Semester: August to December

Second Semester: January to April

Third Semester: July to November

Fourth Semester: January to April
