NIFT 2014 Eligibility:
For all Bachelors Programs:
Candidates must have not crossed the age of 23 years

For all Masters Programs:
There is no upper age limit.

Bachelor of Design (B.Des):
Candidates must have passed class 12th from any Central/State Board of Examination such as CBSE or State Board New Delhi and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech):
Candidates must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any Central/State Board of Examination such as CBSE or State Board New Delhi and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi

Master of Design (M.Des):
candidates must have passed undergraduate degree from a university recognized by law of India or the candidate must hold UG Diploma from NID/NIFT only.

Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M):
Candidates must have passed graduation from a university recognized by law of India or UG Diploma of minimum 3 years from NID/NIFT only.

Master of Fashion Technology (M.FTech):
Candidates must have passed B.F.Tech from NIFT or B.E./B.Tech from any university recognized by law of India..

NIFT 2014 Application Form:
Candidates who wish to pay through DD can send the printed application form (to be downloaded from website) on the following address:
Rs 1200/- for General/OBC category
Rs 600/- for SC/ST/PHP category

NIFT 2014 Exam Pattern
Phase 1 of NIFT 2014 Admission consists of Paper Based Test 1 (PBT 1) that is conducted for all UG and PG programs.
Phase 2 of NIFT 2014 Admission consists of Paper Based Test 2 (PBT 2) that is conducted for Bachelor of Design and Master of Design programs only.
Computer Based Test (CBT 1) is conducted for Bachelor of Fashion Technology, Master of Fashion Management and Master of Fashion Technology only.
In both the phases, following tests will be conducted:
GAT- General Ability Test
CAT- Creative Ability Test
Situation Test
Group Discussion/Personal Interview
