Re: How to Join Indian Air Force through NCC

Hello, here I am providing you the details of joining the Indian Air Force through NCC as under:

As an Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, you can apply to the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force. Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission.

Course:
Flying

Age:
19-23 Years

Eligibility:

Graduate (Three Year Course) in any discipline and have passed Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech (Four Year Course. NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate

Cut off:
60% minimum in aggregate of all papers put together.

Direct entry:
If you have scored an A or B grade in your NCC ‘C’ Certificate exam, and if you meet the other eligibility criteria, then you can appear directly for the SSB interview without undergoing any other entrance examinations. However, this does not mean that you will be selected for sure. You will have to impress the interviewees and the final decision will be taken by them.

How to join NCC:
To join the NCC, you should be a part of a school that is associated with the NCC. The NCC training will progress every year and you will move higher up the ladder as your qualifications improve.
