Can you tell me how many Candidates or Students appeared in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2016?

According to authorities, it is expected that over 1.80 lakh candidates appeared in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2016 for seeking admission to around 1.50 lakh Engineering seats available across various institutes in UP.

The offline exam of UPSEE was conducted across 40 cities of UP and 8 cities in states other than UP.

UPSEE 2016 Seat Allotment Procedure:

• The seat allotment is being done on the basis of Ranks secured by the candidates in UPSEE 2016, along with the choices filled by them during UPSEE 2016 Counselling Process.

• In order to check their seat allotment details, to download and print the UPSEE 2016 Seat Allotment Letter, the applicants need to log in.

• For confirming the allotted seats at UPSEE 2016 Participating Institutes, one needs to report to the verification centre with the allotment letter and a DD (as specified), and get their documents verified.

• One needs to pay UPSEE 2016 admission fee by DD in favour of ‘Finance Officer, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University document verification centre city.

• Candidates of UPSEE 2016 and JEE Main 2016 quotas are required to confirm only one of the seats and surrender the other one.

• One, who don’t turn up for confirmation after the seat allotment, such will lose the seats.

• This year 2016, UPSEE Seat Allotment comprises of five phases.
