All the types of Reservation and number of seats in RPMT (Rajasthan Pre Medical Test) which is replaced by All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) 2016 have been defined by CBSE.

• SC candidates have 15% reservation of AIPMT seats

• ST candidates have 7.5% seats reserved

• As per Supreme Court's order (on 10/04/2008) 27% of AIPMT seats are reserved for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Educational Institutions.
 This means that only the casts that are mentioned in the Central list of OBC can apply for the reservation, those who come under creamy layer OBC, and whose cast is not mentioned in the List should fill in General as their category.

• 3% seats are reserved in 15% All India UG quota seat. (For Physically Handicapped candidates, but only for locomotory disabilities of lower limbs between 50% to 70%, in case this 3% AIPMT seats remain unfilled due to unavailable candidates then these seats should be filled by person with disabilities of lower limbs between 40% to 50 %.)
