National Defence Academy is a joint training institution and center of excellence for preparing leaders for the Indian armed forces and armed forces of Friendly Foreign Countries.


My friend, the NDA examination will be conducted on 19th April 2015. The last date to submit the application form was 23rd Jan 2015. Now with just few days left, here are some of the must to remember points before you appear for NDA exam:

Cover mathematics, Physics and Chemistry sections from Class 12th books
Biology, Geography, History, Political Science, and Economics from Class 10th level
Use NCERT for Basic preparation
Keep in mind there is negative marking in examination
General Ability test focus on reading comprehension, basic grammar and vocabulary
Have good command over vocabulary
Practice by reading a lot of magazines and newspaper editorials to improve English - this is a constant process and can’t be attained in one day
Focus on physics with practical applications
Focus on conceptual aspects for chemistry and mainly the classification For environmental science
know the recent happenings, important summits and developments
For political science have special focus on Constitution of India
Practice basic geography and earth characteristics
Do some practice tests and analyse your score
