Re: How TANCET Marks Are Calculated

TANCET is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted for candidates those seeking for admission into MBA, MCA, and ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Degree Programmes.

Eligbility :

Pass Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years).
Secured at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved category).

Examination Pattern :

Courses No. of Questions Marks
MBA 100 100
MCA 100 100

ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan
Part I 20 20
Part II 20 20
Part III 60 60

Calculating the TANCET Marks

If you appear 15 questions and all of them are right then you get 15 marks.
If you attempt all the questions in a section (45) then you will get only 30 marks and not 45
If you attempted 45 questions and X were wrong then your score will be (25*1)-(X*0.25)=?
If you attempted only 30 questions and out of those 15 were wrong, then your score will be (20*1)-(15*0.25)=?
