How To Write TNPSC Exam

Hello sir I was filled an application form of TNPSC Exam. Here I came for to get detail about the TNPSC Exam. Can any one tell me how to write TNPSC Exam?

There is no any written exam is provided in TNPSC. TNPSC is follow online computer based process. The TNPSC exam is done in online computer based common written exam.

The written examination conducted by TNPSC consists of single paper.

This exam comprising of:
General Knowledge (S.S.L.C Standard)
General Tamil / General English (S.S.L.C. Standard)

The mode of written exam is of objective type contains 200 questions carries (150+150) 300 marks, 3 hours is the time duration for the examination.

The minimum qualifying marks for selection is 90.

Exam Pattern:

TNPSC conducts Exam in single paper (Objective Type) which is of two types.

One type of question paper will contain questions on General Studies (SSC Std) (75 Items) and Aptitude Test (25 Items) and General English (100 Items).

The other will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Aptitude Test (25 items) and General Tamil (100 items).

Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first (75+25) 100 items on General Studies and Aptitude Test.

The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil and the questions on General Tamil/ General English will be set in the respective languages.

Eligibility:

Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
