The Department of Laws appeared in 1970 when the University was set up. At first it was housed in D.A.V. School, Middle Bazar. Later it was moved to Ava Lodge, Chaura Maidan where it stayed useful for a few years. The Department was migrated in the University grounds in 1984 lastly moved to its own working in 1993. Since its commencement the division has been effectively occupied with conferring lawful instruction, preparing and lawful research profiting understudies burning of seeking after their profession in law.

Qualification

1. Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.)

Single guys Degree of any personnel of University built up by law in India with no less than 45% imprints. If there should be an occurrence of SC/ST applicants the qualification rate might be brought down by 5%.

Premise of Admission

2. Master of Laws (L.L.M.)
