HUDCO Limited (Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO)) opened its public issue of tax free, secured, redeemable, non-convertible bonds - tranche II of face-value of Rs.1,000 each, in the nature of debentures having tax benefits under section 10(15)(iv)(h) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, as amended for an amount aggregating to a total of Rs. 1,788.50 crores.


Allotment is on "First Come First Serve" basis. Retail individual investors can invest up to Rs. 10,00,000/- across all series of bonds in this issue. The bonds have been rated CARE AAA by CARE and IND AAA by IRRPL indicating highest degree of safety regarding timely servicing of financial obligations.
