The selection as an Airman in the IAF is organized through All India Selection Tests and Recruitment Rallies.

All India Selection Tests are organized at the Airmen Selection Centres (ASCs) situated all over India as per timetable, whereas the Recruitment Rallies are organized from time to time in selected areas/regions of particular States/Union Territories of the country.

Eligibility:

GROUP 'X'trades
Age Limit:17 - 21 Years

Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equal examination with
Mathematics, Physics and English, with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English

OR
3 years Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with minimum 50% of marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma
