IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service which is Civil Service Exams & conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age
The applicants age in between 21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination.

Education:
The applicant should have a degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent.

The Candidates appearing at their engineering degree or equivalent examination are also eligible to compete.

Application Fee
The candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only).

The candidates belonging to Female/SC/ST/PH are exempted from payment of fee.

Exam scheme
The IAS Examination will consist of two stages:

Civil Services Preliminary Examination (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and

Civil Services Main Examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts
