Last date for receipt of applications:- 20.05.2016 (Friday)

Date of commencement of exam:- 07.08.2016 (Sunday)

Duration of exam:- 1 day

Civil services (main) exam 2016
Date of commencement of exam:- 03.12.2016 (saturday)

Duration of exam:- 5 days

Eligibility:
Graduation degree in any stream from recognized University

Age Limit:
• Unreserved category: 26 years
• SC/ST candidates: 29 years
• OBC: 28 years

Selection process
Candidates will be hired on the basis of written Test and Interview /Personality Test



IAS Preliminary Exam Pattern:-
The Examination shall comprise of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.

(i) Both the question papers will be of the objective type

(ii) The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English.

Each paper will be of two hours duration.
