Persons ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89 5 years

Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years

Nationality/Citizenship:

A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person inwhose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

As per the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria, the candidates must be eligible on the following conditions -

1. He/she should belong to the Nationality of any of the following - India. Nepal, Bhutan, A Tibetan Refugee, A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

2. The candidates must have passed any Graduation Degree from a recognized Indian University.

3. The minimum age limit is 20 years & maximum age limit is 30 years for IBPS PO.

4. Age Relaxation Benefits are as follows -



(i). Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe - 5 Years
(ii). Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) -3 Years
(iii). Persons With Disabilities 10 Years

IBPS has released the notification for the IBPS PO 2017 exam recruitment and the candidates who want to make a career in the banking sector can apply for the exam before the last date which is 5 September.
There are some eligibility criteria that candidates should check before applying for the exam.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who have completed graduation degree in any stream from recognized university are eligible to apply for the IBPS PO 2017 exam.
Age-Limit:
