I have finished the bachelors degree course now I want to do the distance MBA course because, I am doing the job also. I have to two option for distance MBA. One is ICFAI and second one is Sikkim Manipal University. Which one is better? ICFAI Or Sikkim Manipal University?

ICFAI is better than SMU .

Here i would like to compare both on basis of some important points -

Affiliation - Both are UGC + DEB

Accrediation - only one year for SMU instead of two years.

Study material - Updated study material and helping notes as workbook,PEP notes,case studies,Bullet notes from ICFAI University as they have a dedicated research team involved in Curriculum.

SMU provides hardcopies as well as Soft copy but not updated from long time.

Exam Pattern - Both follow CBT (Computer based test) vide Multiple choice questions.

Publicity - SMU is running its university with the help of Publicity. Ads are coming everywhere from TV to mobile.

ICFAI is maintaining its profile and still not involved in any publicity other than id’s and corporate desks.

Brand - Among Corporates ICFAI is a much better brand interms of legit and loyalty.

While SMU offers much more options and placement opportunities than ICFAI
