Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), North Eastern Region has released a notification for the recruitment of Scientist B (Medical/ Non-Medical) & Technical Assistant vacancies on temporary basis “Health system preparedness for intervention for diabetes, hypertension, chronic respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease and cancer and deaths due to non-communicable diseases among the tribal population of India”.

Total No. of Posts: 06

Name of the Post:

1. Scientist B (Medical/ Non-Medical): 01 post
2. Technical Assistant: 05 posts

Eligibility Criteria-

Candidates should possess MBBS Degree from a recognized university with one-year research/ training experience Or MD in Microbiology/ Pathology/ PSM from a recognized University for Scientist B (Medical candidates)

Masters Degree Sociology/ Economics/ Anthropology/ Statistics/ Social Sciences from a recognized university with 02 years of research experience in relevant field for Scientist B (Non-Medical candidates), Graduation in Sociology/ Economics/ Anthropology/ Statistics/ Social Sciences from a recognized university with 03 years experience Or Masters degree in Sociology/ Economics/ Anthropology/ Statistics/ Social Sciences from a recognized University for Technical Assistant.

Age Limit:

Candidates age should be not exceeding 35 years for Post No.1

30 years for Post No.2

Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview.
