Please tell me details of UPSC IES exam along with 2015 cut off criteria so that I can go through the data?

Civil Engineering
IES CUT OFFS GEN OBC SC ST
IES 2015 minimum qualifying marks in Section I (out of 600)

Mechanical Engineering
IES CUT OFFS GEN OBC SC ST
IES 2015 minimum qualifying marks in Section I (out of 600)

Electrical Engineering

IES 2015 minimum qualifying marks in Section I (out of 600)

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
IES CUT OFFS GEN OBC SC ST
IES 2015 minimum qualifying marks in Section I (out of 600)

Eligibility
Age:-
Aspirants aged between Minimum 21 and Maximum 30 years.

Educational Qualification:-
B.E./B.Tech or passed sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or
Obtained a degree/diploma in engineering from such foreign university/college/institution recognized by the Government of India from time to time.
Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or
Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959.

Nationality:-
The aspirant must be any one of the following:
A citizen of India
A citizen of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan

Exam pattern
Paper I (Objective type) General Ability Test
(Part A: General English)
(Part B: General Studies) 200 Marks

Papers II & III (Objective type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper

Papers IV & V(Conventional Type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper

Total marks for written Examination 1000 Marks

Personality Test 200 Marks

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS:-

Candidates should note that there will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
