IES entrance exam after B.Tech Procedure
I am doing B.Tech and I want to do IES exam after it. Will you please tell me about the IES entrance exam procedure after B.Tech?

Indian Engineering Service (IES) is standardized civil services in area of engineering. The IES exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). As per your request, I am going to tell you about the procedure to become IES officer after B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: Candidate needs to be citizen of India or equivalent. Age Criteria: Age of the candidate should be 21 years to 30 years. Age Relaxations: 5 years to SC/ST Categories 3 years to OBC Categories Education Qualifications: Candidate need to pass B.Tech/B.E or, passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India). or, Candidate need to have a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognized by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or Candidate needs to pass Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or Candidate needs to Pass Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or Candidate need to Pass Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959 Application Fee: Rs. 200 for - General/OBC candidates is Rs. 200 No Application fee for - SC, ST, PH and female candidates Important Dates to Remember Date of Notification: 14 March, 2015.
