İzmir University of Economics (IUE), is the first foundation university in İzmir and in Aegean region. IUE is a non-profit foundation university recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK). It was established in 2001 by İzmir Chamber of Commerce Education and Health Foundation.
