Re: IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility Criterion

IGNOU - B.Ed programme is recognized by all member Universities of Association of India Universities (AIU)

B.Ed Eligibility:

Must hold bachelor’s degree or a higher degree from a recognized university
Graduation or Post-Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks, provided that the requirement of 50% marks shall not apply to persons appointed as teachers prior to the commencement of the National Council for Teacher Education (Regulations Norms and Procedure) Second Amendment Regulations
OR
Two years’ full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school with registration number recognised by the respective Directorate of Education or Central or State Government or Union Territory

Programme Fee:
Rs. 20,000/- for the entire programme

Reservation:
There is reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped learners, as per the Government of India rules, for admission to its various programmes
