I am looking to get the admission to the MBA program of the IGNOU can you please help me in this?

IGNOU is the largest open university of the country that provides the wide range of the courses to the students.

Here are the details of the MBA program of the University -

To get the admission to the course of the MBA at the university you need to clear the test of university called the OPENMAT.

The admission for this course is directly based on its IGNOU OPENMAT entrance test. OPENMAT is conducted twice a year by the university .

Other entrance test conducted by other management institutions (CAT, MAT) and state level examinations are also considered for the admission of IGNOU MBA program, and it won’t be necessary for those who appeared in the above test to appear in the IGNOU OPENMAT entrance test to get the admission to the courses of the MBA at the university .

Basic Eligibility For IGNOU MBA

The basic eligibility criterion for IGNOU distance MBA is as follows

1: Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for the Reserved Category)

2: Clearance of the OPENMAT Entrance Test by IGNOU or any other recognized examinations such as CAT, MAT etc.

3: No age bar for this course.

Admission

The admission for the course will be done on the basis of the OPENMAT examination that is being conducted twice a year. A result card will be sent to each of the candidate who attended the OPENMAT examination. The result card will indicate if the candidate has qualified or not qualified for the course on the basis of the cut off score decided by the university regarding the courses.

The candidate applying for the course on the basis of the result card will have to fill up the

Application Form (Form 2) of the university which is given in the Prospectus along with required documents.

Late and incomplete applications will be rejected without referring to the student.

The distance IGNOU MBA aspirants are requested to appear any of the two OPENMAT examinations which are scheduled to be conducted on

OPENMAT XXXIV examination date: 08.09.2013

OPENMAT XXXV examination date: 02.02.2014
